Mr. Gummy

This is Mr. Gummy. When Chance was just a little boy he had a stuffed bear, a bear who was his first experiment. He made the bear come to life. A drunkard of a hobo who fell out of the bureaucrat business due to the bad economy, his wife left him, and he turned to alcohol. He was coaxed to Allwright castle for the promise of a free meal. And whilst he was eating Chance slit his throat and transferred him into the bear. Since then the bear has been his loyal companion. But times got hard, and soon the bear was discarded like any old stuffed toy. But the bear was a thinking, feeling creature now. He left Castle Allwright to try his hand at making his own. He worked at the pub as a stand up act, a puppet show, for free beer.
But years and years later he's become old and tired, his act became tiresome and soon people stopped coming. Mr Gummy was drinking his beer, cursing how he never got any tips yet again, the bartender making fun of him, saying his stuffing's falling at the seams. The bear almost got into a fight but Chance soon appeared. Asking him to join his crew throughout the galaxy, in need of a trusted accountant and friend.
Mr Gummy at first refused his offer, saying he was never much of a friend and he himself was never much of anything.
Soon Chance got through to him and they've been friends ever since. Mr Gummy is always quick to hit on alien babes. Chance always has to bail him out from a drunken rampage, and bar fights, but they're still friends none-the-less.
